In 1985(ish) Kathy joined the girl guides. It was the first proper uniform she had ever had and she looked so smart. She was like the cat that had got the cream!! Kath was a very dedicated Girl Guide and got many of her badges, although she obviously missed out on the cookery one as she couldn’t boil an egg when she left home!!
