I first met Kath around 1989/1990 when she hung around with a friend that i used to know (Cheralynne) .I can remember clearly the first time i met her in the park opposite where my mum lives. She liked me because i made her laugh apparently and i actually think it was her who asked me on a date not the other way around like usually happens.She was such a happy young woman and ill always remember that she had a smile for me every time we met. That was such a long time ago now but i remember it like it was yesterday.She has been my best friend ever since and that will never change. Kath moved in with me when i lived at my mums,she was only seventeen so we have lived together for eighteen years or so.That is a long time to live with someone and you get to know each other like the back of your hand.We knew each other so well and could read each others thoughts just like any other couple who have been together that long.We were never perfect and had our ups and downs just like anybody else but we clicked and we made it work. Kath started work as a sales assistant at Clinton cards in commercial road Portsmouth shortly after leaving school and she worked full time right up until leaving to have our first child Luciana in 1998.I always admired her for doing this job as most of her time there involved a daily trip back and forth on a bus to Portsmouth for a job that didnt particularly pay a huge wage.However she was committed and did this every day of the week for around seven years without complaint.This hard working attitude remained with her and after giving birth to our children she went back to work part time as a dinner lady at Luci and Emilys school, and later on as a sales assistant in our local One stop.This is where Kath became better known to the local people in our area.
