In 1986 Kathy started secondary school at Crookhorn Comprehensive. This was a very quiet time for Kathy. The teenage years were very hard for her and she became a bit reclusive. She did make a really good friend here though. Her name was Cheralynne. During her time at school it was also discovered that Kath was very good at long distance running. I’m not sure if she ever run in competitions but she was definitely good enough to. Thanks to Kaths sister Leeanne for timeline information.
