After being diagnosed with breast cancer on the 11th of October 2007 our world initally fell apart.We just couldnt believe that this had happened to us. Kath put on a brave face but i know deep inside she was devastated.As was i.Because i knew Kath so well i knew she would let this get the better of her so i became the one who had to kick her in the backside and try to get her motivated to beat cancer.I hated myself for being the one who had to do this but i knew it had to be done. After an operation,lots of chemotherapy and an endless stream of radiotherapy which lasted 6 months or more she had finaly done it.She was in remission and we hoped and prayed that this was the end of it and we could look forward to a brighter future.And after all was said and done i had actually done nothing.She had done it all herself and i was so proud of her for the way she conducted herself through it all.What an acheivment.She had beaten it!!! But little did we know it was going to come back with such strength that nothing was going to save her.
